This doctrinal statement reflects the broad, mainstream, conservative evangelical tradition which is consistent with the teachings of the Bible and which has stood the test of history and experience. We specifically affirm the following doctrinal truths:
A.W.A.N.A. Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)
Mission Statement: To disciple and equip children with the word of truth, that they might take on the heart of Christ and be his hands and feet in establishing God’s kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven.
A churchgoer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday … “I’ve gone for 30 years now,” he wrote, “and in that time I have heard something like 203,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.”:
The Men’s Ministry exists to serve and build up the body of Christ through activities that create fellowship, build moral character, promote accountability, and develop lasting relationships and Christ-centered families.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17.
The vision of the Session is to let the young people of our community know that they matter, and to provide them with a space where they are welcomed, heard, and accepted into a spiritual family that will not judge them.

The concept of the KMC is based on Acts 2:46-47, “They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.” While the focus has been on fellowship and building stronger relationships, we are looking for more of an outward focus this fall by doing home visits and missional outreach activities.
